When deciding on what operating system to restore, it is worth knowing that your product key / serial number will work with both 64 bit & 32 bit Versions of your Windows product type (e.g. 32 bit Windows 7 Home & 64 Bit Windows 7 Home). Just to make things a little more complicated, the 32 bit operating system will work on 32 bit and 64 bit processors, but a 64 bit operating system will ONLY work on 64 bit computer, so how can you find out?
Well we have made it easy for you, just run our processor test software, called Numus Software Check IT.
Numus Software Check IT does not install and is a very small .EXE file which you can delete right after use. You will need the Microsoft.net Framework 3.5 at least to run it, which you will very likely already have.
This website is intended to be used only by people who need drivers, restore disks and general I.T. technical support. All manuals and individual drivers are free although driver compilations, data recovery and restore disk sets are a paid for product. If a Windows® operating system restore disk is required it can only be purchased as a download supplied by a Microsoft® Authorized Digital Partner. To use these Windows® operating system downloads users must already have their Product Key (Note Windows® 8 & 8.1 users, your product key may be embedded in your BIOS).
Windows® 10, 8.1 or Windows® 8 users see our section for Windows® 10, 8.1, 8. You only need a product key to reinstall Windows® You do NOT need a product key / serial number to install or use a driver disk or any other products on this website.
All computers that were supplied with a pre-installed Windows® operating system, prior to Windows® 8, were licensed by a sticker being physically attached to the system. This sticker known as a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) would look like the one above. The Windows® COA is Typically a 25-character alphanumeric string printed on a sticker affixed to your PC or on documentation included with your PC. Sometimes for some newer laptops the COA may be inside the battery compartment. If you don’t see a COA, and your operating system was not originally Windows® 10, 8.1 or 8 then it’s likely that Windows® isn't properly licensed on that PC and may even be counterfeit software.
Don't have a Windows® COA on the base or side of your computer? (Windows® 8 customers click here) Maybe you cant read it or the COA is damaged or unreadable. No problem!! use our free COA License Key Finder to retrieve it from your laptop, desktop, net-book or PC. Only use this if you can not find your COA any other way because manufacturers use bulk disk images and the same product key to active hundreds of computers at a time. This embedded OEM product key number may not be the actual number on your COA and this bulk OEM product key will not active your new install. So you really do need to have your actual COA product key number and only use this product key finder if you have no other choice or way to recover your Windows® Product Key.
Once you are sure you have valid Product Key, you then buy the version of Windows® that you need. Make sure that if your COA and Product Key states for example "Windows® 7 Premium" that you only buy a "Windows® Premium", it does not matter what language it is or if its 64 bit or 32 bit, but the actual original product type does matter. Your Product Key will not work if your COA is for "Windows® 7 Premium" and you buy a "Windows® 7 Ultimate". We will not refund you if you download the wrong version! We will however allow you to re-download your correct version.
With the launch of Windows® 8, Microsoft® has introduced a new method of embedding your product key into some computer's BIOS chips. Therefore your COA product key will never get removed or destroyed and your product key / Windows® serial number will always be associated with your system. If your system is made by a large OEM manufacturer like Acer, Asus, Sony, the list goes on.. then you will not need to type in a Windows® product key / serial number, Windows® 8 will automatically retrieve it from your BIOS and activate your Windows® during your re-install. If you still want your actual serial number / product key you can use this Windows® BIOS product key finder to retrieve your serial number / product key.
Run the utility and tick the check box labelled ‘MSDM KEY’ (by default it will show the key embedded in the Windows® installation disc, NOT the BIOS key!) The MSDM key is the one located in the BIOS and the one required for activation). Be sure you have the correct key as the embedded OEM product key number is the bulk OEM product key and will not active your new install. Only use this product key finder if you have no other choice or way to recover your Windows® product Key.
There is a problem with this as you will need to run the product key finder program on the system that you need re-install. If you can not do this, maybe your hard disk drive is broken or your system is not accessible, then download the Windows® 8.1 Enterprise Free Evaluation from Microsoft®.
You will not need a product key to install this, but it does expire in 30 days, and you can not upgrade it or activate it. Before the 30 day trial period expires, you will need to carry out a clean install of Windows® 8, using your BIOS product key! Remember You can not upgrade the trial version!! So you will need to re-install using full Windows® 8 restore disks. Do not forget to run the Windows® 8 BIOS product License Key Finder and write down the serial number, before your trial runs out, or you will have to go through the whole process again!
We use both the PCI compliant payment gateway from Zoftar.com and the PCI compliant gateway from Nochex.com. You can pay with any debit or credit card, and can use either of the two payment systems. Once you have paid you will be asked to download the download manager (optional).
(Use of the download manager is not necessary but we advise customers use it) Once you have purchased the item, you can optionally install the Windows® Vista XP compatible download manager or the Windows® 8 7 compatible download manager. These versions of the download manager are related to the operating system you are using and are nothing to do with the the operating system you want to download! This software will protect your purchase and ensure verified un-corrupted digital delivery. The download manager will also make sure your download can resume if interrupted. This system was developed due to the sheer size of some downloads. As an order can consist of 1 x Microsoft® Windows® DVD plus 1 X driver CD and 1 x data recovery cd, you could be downloading a total of 5GB. As we all know too well, downloads and internet connectivity can easily fail, the download manager makes sure you can download your items as many times as you need and resume at any point. Be assured this is a very small piece of software and is guaranteed to be virus and malware free. Feel free to un-install the download manager after you are happy that you have successfully downloaded all your purchased items.
There are so many documents and videos out there with some of the best advice and information available, there is no point us posting more, please see the four videos here for information on how to re-install Windows®.
A Google search for installing Windows® will glean many results!!
After the installation of your operating system you will also need drivers. Our driver resource DVD is like no other! Any normal collection of drivers would get out of date very quickly, drivers are also notoriously hard for the user to get right. We believe that a driver CD containing a bunch of compressed files, is just not good enough. Our system will supply you with the very latest drivers for your chosen Windows® operating system. The driver resource DVD will provide every driver you need to get your system running right after you have installed Windows®. Once you have internet connectivity you will also be able to update every driver to the latest version. This driver system will also check, repair, and update every device driver all in one easy update.
It is very likely that after installing a new operating system, devices like the graphics and audio will not work correctly. This is because the Windows® operating system will set the computer up with with generic drivers that are designed only to operate at a very basic level. Some form of device driver is required for the hardware to operate in any way. Windows® default drivers are designed so that the basic start-up requirements are met, such as being able to see some sort of display. Many driver dvds or resource dvds, as they are sometimes called, are normally just full of compressed, out of date and hard to install driver files. This driver dvd will supply you with all the very latest drivers as the driver dvd update system will then also go on-line, update, replace and remove any old or broken device drivers.
Just put the dvd into the optical / DVD / CD drive of any computer with a running operating system, and the dvd will do the rest.
An ISO file is a single file that contains all the data needed to create a physical DVD or CD. These files are easy to download and are supported by many CD DVD writing software vendors.
There are lots of tools around to convert an .ISO to a DVD or bootable USB key.

Use The Windows® USB/DVD Download Tool !! Lots of detailed information on how to use and install the tool is on the linked page. Alternatively you can just download the tool here.Windows® 7 USB/DVD Download Tool Although the tool states Windows® 7, it will work fine for all versions of Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7, Windows® 8 and Windows® 8.1. Its worth noting that you can NOT extract an ISO file to a USB key and use it to re-install your operating system. The USB to ISO conversion software actually changes the file format and the way the data is handled on the USB stick. You have to use this tool from Microsoft® if you want to convert an official Windows® ISO into a physical bootable USB Disk.
